Ernestine (Tina) Cavazos has been employed with the City of Diboll since 1980 and became the City Secretary in October 1997. The City Secretary attends all meetings of the City Council and keeps records of their actions.  She attests the Mayor's and the City Manager's signature on all contracts, agreements, ordinances, resolutions and other legal documents executed by officers of the City.  The City Secretary is also responsible for processing all candidates’ filing for City Council Elections.   Mrs. Cavazos conducts early voting for all City of Diboll elections and coordinates supplies for Election Judges and Clerks on Election Day. 

Mrs. Cavazos is a member of the Texas Municipal Clerk Association of the Pineywoods Chapter and has served as Vice President and Secretary.
