Wastewater Department

The Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is located at 709 Corrine Drive Diboll, TX 75941.  The WWTP is responsible for the collection and treatment of domestic and industrial wastewater within the City of Diboll.  The plant was expanded in 2000 from 1.098 million gallons per day capacity to 2.0 millions gallons per day. The city added two clarifiers, an additional chlorine contact chamber, raised the walls on the race track, replaced two old lift stations and did some collection system repairs. Monthly, the City of Diboll WWTP must report the quality of the effluent, i.e. the water leaving the plant, to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). The standard is set by the TCEQ.
