Rosa Olvera - City Secretary
The City Secretary is responsible for all paperwork pertaining to official business of the City Council, and for implementation of the City’s record’s management program; acts as representative of the City at various functions; assists City Manager in making operational decisions including interpretation of policy, law, Ordinances, the City Charter, Council guidelines, and official procedures; open records; municipal elections; records management; and all aspects of human resources.
Rosa M. Olvera joined the City of Diboll in January of 2022. Mrs. Olvera a lifelong resident of Diboll and a graduate of Diboll High School. The majority of Mrs. Olvera’s professional career has been in the medical field. The skillset she has developed in that arena will allow her to serve the citizens of Diboll with professionalism, compassion and respect. Mrs. Olvera is a mother of three to Tessa, Edith and Ruby who is a student at Diboll Junior High School.
