DIBOLL DAY 2024
A Community Tradition Since 1953
The result was the creation of the Diboll Booster Club and the first Diboll Day which raised almost $1,200 for the community.
Diboll Day was celebrated as an annual event from 1953-1958. Since 1958, it has been celebrated biannually on even number years. The odd number years were reserved for Diboll's sister city, Pineland, to celebrate Pineland Day.
The only time that tradition has been broken was in 2020 due to safety concerns of citizens during a worldwide pandemic.
Since the start of Diboll Day, the Diboll Booster Club has raised $5 Million and given grants that have funded many projects for the citizens of Diboll. Some of these projects include public swimming pools, the little league baseball complex, Old Orchard Park, the operation of the Katherine Sage Temple Daycare, and supporting the T.L.L. Temple Memorial Library.
